The Conqueror by Georgette Heyer




I have just brought this book home and it sits there waiting for me to read it when I have finished 1942 and Hawke unless I weaken of course.....and guess what, I couldn't help it, I am into it and have found myself amazed that heyer should go back so far with one of her novels - to William the Conqueror. So I weakened and finished it and thoroughly enjoyed this part of our very early history of a determined young man and a great knight
